"Edit in TextMate" not working in builds after 1498

I have found that "Edit in TextMate" no longer works on 10.4.11 (not
sure about Leopard) with any build after 1498 -- it fails silently
although the key press gets picked up by Key Codes. Re-installing 1498
gets it working again. Anyone else found this?
