Hello! This may belong on the development mailing list; please let me
know if that's your opinion.
I'm excited by Netbeans integration with BugZilla:
http://wiki.netbeans.org/NewAndNoteWorthyNB67#section-NewAndNoteWorthyNB67-IssueTrackingIntegrationBut for many of my projects, we are using the Trac issue tracker:
http://trac.edgewall.org/There's a wonderful support framework laid already for bug trackers, so
I was wondering if Trac integration was coming in a planned release.
There's already several plugins to create some form of interaction
between the two:
http://code.google.com/p/cubeon/These are cool, but they seem relatively "old world" in that it doesn't
seem to use the excellent new framework, which means no easy connection
with the Netbeans GUI like BugZilla enjoys (issue-tracking right in the
commit dialog, etc) and it strikes me that interaction ought to happen
through the same framework anyway, rather than a slightly different
manner for each type of tracker.
So my question is this: is any work being done to integrate Trac and
other trackers into this framework? (Evidently JIRA is in the pipeline).
Has anyone been working for the CubeN plugin team or similar to
integrate their work more with Netbeans?
Thanks for your answers!
