Excellent article.
It tells you what not to _do_ (with example!) and what _to do_ but  
not _how_ to do it (*no example*).
If using Server side instructions obviously you put the instruction  
in the .htaccess file,
but what do you do if you can only use Client side instructions?

The whole point of this Tip is to strongly recommend redirects made  
from some syntax in the document, because it tends to break the back  
button, and to do it upstream, either at the server level, or using  
server-side scripting such as php.
