I have an album which gives credit for playing the bass drum. (
http://musicbrainz.org/release/3d1d9713-5269-4f4f-a03f-59d1abc128c1.html,
annotation
credits appear to be from http://www.diacenter.org/km/musiccd.html )
However, there is no "bass drum" instrument relation in MB.  Would it be
possible to get this added?

Thanks

Hi,

This instrument will be add later, when it is used on at least 5 regular, proper releases (live or album). For the moment add your release on Talk:Instrument Addition and make a Drums or Percussion instruments AR for this credit.

Don't forget to complete Sub Optimal Credits and add annotation like here.

There is more than five release mentioned here -
http://musicbrainz.org/search/textsearch.html?query=%22bass+drum%22&type=annotation&limit=25&adv=on&handlearguments=1
and that's only releases where people added the info to annotation, so
I've added bass drum to the instrument tree.
