	'octave' is not recognized as an internal or external command by Rahaaa :: Rate this Message: Reply to Author \| View Threaded \| Show Only this Message Hi I have installed octave in windows vista. I cannot run the octave command on shell I don't know what is wrong Can any one please help me with this? I get this error 'octave' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Many thanks Raha

Kind regards Raha depending on where exactly you installed octave, you need to add something like C:\Program Files\Octave\bin to your path variable.
