Dear Ultima Thule listener,

Thanks to the financial generosity of our listeners and a herculanean work
effort over the past 72 hours, I'm pleased to announce that we've avoided
having to take our website entirely offline during our present transition to
a new web hosting provider.

As of today, the great majority of the site has been successfully
transitioned to the new host, and is fully functional.

This means that our playlists, interviews and video channel etc are all
accessible and functioning as usual.

We have now commenced the much more time-intensive process of transitioning
our mp3 podcast programme archive to the new provider.

All programmes from 2007, 2008 and 2009 (up to programme # 778) are already
available.

Programmes from 2003 - 2007 (plus those from #779 to date) will follow, over
the next few days.

By Wednesday 4th November, the entire transition will be complete, and the
podcast archive will be fully up-to-date again.

I'd like thank everyone who contributed their money time and energy to
ensuring that minimal disruption is asociated with this process.

It is immensely gratifying to know  that our work is so widely appreciated.

...and a final reminder that if you'd like to help defray Ultima Thule's
now-formidable web hosting expenses, and ensure that our little band of
volunteers can continue to inform and entertain listeners around the world
long into the future, please consider making a donation to our PayPal
account: information@...
