I"ve had both - a free ticket provided by the uni, and 2 contracts that
pay for a return ticket. One uni wanted to see a receipt but accepted a
quote from their travel agent, the other just gave me the money -8000 less
tax.
I'm looking at a contract now that says "The employer should pay the
employee 8000 rmb per year for the coming and going tickets at the end of
the contract."
No mention of requiring to see the tickets but maybe time to talk to the
Fapiao people hanging around Xizhimen Subway station?
and of course the above has that magic word, should.
