There is a fair bit of discussion about health insurance. However, it
is also very important that you have people around you who have the
details of your insurance and how to contact them. The initial
contact is the most critical. So, if there is an emergency and they
have to hunt around for the FAO because it is a Saturday, that just
won't do.
I have three friends who have all the insurance details in Chinese so
that if anything happens to me it is there. Furthermore, I carry the
insurance card with me together with my ID (copy of my passport).
