(life) Is Facebook blocked?

Hi guys,

Would like to know if anyone is aware that FB is currently blocked in China? Here where I am in Dalian, I could not log on this morning and am not sure if this is just a temporary glitch, maybe just a problem with my Internet or is it really the Government playing 'god' again.

Face book is blocked here in Ningbo. I guess it's because of the recent troubles.

I don't know the answer to your question, but how about giving your information about teaching in Dalian and the climate.  Others are trying to locate a good place to live in Eastern China.  My guess is that winter is rather cold and snowy, yes or no?

Having just returned to the states for the summer, I read that Facebook had been blocked because of the current "situation".
