(no subject)hello,every
one!
Recently I am doing some research on
Octopus and plan to user this tools in my project !I am deeply impressed with
the easy use !But I encounter a problems with efficiency of Octopus. It will
take me nearly 20 minutes to load a table from a source table ,which
is about 150,000 lines,to the target source !
As a result ,I plan to do some change
to the source code to improve the efficiency !Where can i get some
more informations about how the classes are orgnized, such as class digram ,the
explaination from all classes? I will appreciate your kindly help and your
attention.
Best wishes sincerely and good luck!^_^

RE:Hi, Source code of Octopus is available at: http://forge.objectweb.org/scm/?group_id=39.
Threre are several modules in octopus -generator: creates loadjobs out of existing data source (database) -loader – loads data from source to target database using
definitions in loadjobs and importdefinitions -several jdbc drivers: csv, xml… -test We will appreciate if you can improve performance of Octopus in
your scenario and contribute your work back to the project. Best regards, Sinisa Milosevic From: ???
