MobileFusion is seeking an experienced software developer with
extensive experience in developing and debugging embedded and
real-time systems. The candidate will work specifically on design and
developing embedded and client software for combining and fusing a
wide-range of sensors for products targeting commercial and or
military applications. The candidate will be a key part of the
engineering team and will be responsible for:
Designing, developing and testing real-time software to process and
visualize information from different sensors including electro-optic,
range sensors, positioning, and inertial sensors.
Developing embedded software for Audio/Video processing (recording,
playback, filtering, compression)
Developing client and embedded system AI/Machine learning algorithms
for sensor fusion, localization, tracking and classification
Determining the software characteristics that drive or are constrained
by hardware requirements.
Writing detailed functional specifications that document the software
architecture, design, implementation and the use of the required
development infrastructure.
Developing user interfaces for different client devices
Participating in the design process and documentation of the software
architecture
Qualifications
Strong C/C++ experience
Experience creating user interfaces and familiarity with GUI toolkits
(e.g. Qt, GTK, etc)
Strong Linux development application experience
Experience developing application software for embedded systems
3-5 years of software development experience, ideally developing
multi-threaded application for sensor and/or network systems
BS/MS Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related
