: cantor backends

hi list,
I was thinking that having a KAlgebra backend for cantor would make sense and now that Cantor is inside KDE already it might be a good moment to do so.
Is there any documentation on how to write the backends? What classes should be implemented, etc.?

It would be nice if I could meet some cantor developer to discuss that in IRC or so.

Thanks,
Aleix

yes and maybe some doc could be added to techbase on how to implement a
backend.
The developer nickname on irc is arieder :-)

Best regards,

Great idea.

No there isn't any (yet. I probably should write it sometime), but you
can look at the code of the null backend( cantor/src/nullbackend ) on
how a minimalistic backend looks like. If you have any
problems/questions, I'd be glad to help you out on IRC. My nick is
arieder.

Bye,
Alexander
