[] cheap crimp tool suitable for molex MLX series

For a project at university I need a high current (10A plus per pin)
wire to board connector. The molex MLX series seems to fit the bill
nicely. The problem is how to put the connectors onto the cable. Molex
make an official crimp tool but at over £350 (from digi-keys UK site,
annoyingly digi-key sell it much cheaper to americans) the price seems
rather steep for doing a handfull of connectors.

While I can (and will if I have to) bodge this using pliers and a
soldering iron I'd rather not. Can anyone reccomend a more reasonablly
priced tool that would do the job (I will also be checking with the
universities workshop to see if they have anything suitable already).

The university has a paypal phobia and setting up credit accounts with
new suppliers is likely to involve more beuracracy than i'm prepared to
deal with so only suppliers that can take credit cards directly.
Suppliers in the UK (or at least the EU) strongly preffered.
