Summary: Request for extended iproute/iptables/kernel features.

Initial Comment:
Hi,

I would like to kindly ask about following features
[especially for iptables and iproute]:

1) IMQ device, usefull for extensive traffic shaping
 Needs kernel and iptables patches:
 http://www.linuximq.net/

2) iproute2 patches:

 a) HFSC scheduler [included in 2.4.25 kernel, needs
patch for previous versions and iproute patch.]
 http://trash.net/~kaber/hfsc/

 b) esfq queuing discipline:
 http://www.ssi.bg/~alex/esfq/
 Needs kernel and iproute patches.

3) ipp2p iptables extension:
Requires iptables and kernel patches.
http://rnvs.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/ipp2p/index_en.html

I would also ask about providing version of iptables
including most of libraries, not only that related to
modules used in bering-kernel [usefull for self
prepared kernel].

Althoug building own kernel for bering doesn't require
special enviroment [AFAIK] but it's issue to prepare
own packages with uClibc ie. iproute2, iptables...

Best regards,
tw
