#10649: Problems Pasting and Changing URL in Chat

When I paste a URL into my chat window and change it, the correct URL is
not sent to the end user.
For example, if I paste the URL:
http://developer.pidgin.im/newticket then I change it to be:
http://developer.pidgin.im/ I get the following results:
MSN Chat: The user receives the full link of
http://developer.pidgin.im/newticket and the location linked to is
http://developer.pidgin.im/newticket Google Talk: The user receives the changed link of
http://developer.pidgin.im/ but the location linked to is
http://developer.pidgin.im/newticket AIM: Identical to Google Talk
In all my chat logs it displays the link as what I change it to
(
http://developer.pidgin.im/), but the linked to location is always
http://developer.pidgin.im/newticket.
This started happening when I updated to my current version of pidgin and
is REALLY annoying because it used to update the hyperlink to what I
changed it to.
System Info:
Windows XP and Windows 7 (confirmed)
Pidgin 2.6.3
Libpurple 2.6.3
Protocols: AIM, MSN, Google Talk
