#10654: Pidgin crashes when adding short buddy name

 When adding a buddy with 'Add Buddy' using a single word, i.e: testuser
 instead of testuser@... pidgin crashes.

 This was tested on two Windows XP machines with XMPP.
 (Google Talk and a custom jabber server.
