#10665: Authorize Buddy Repeats Every Start Up

 I receive an authorize buddy for the same contact: David.Garrett, every
 time I start up Pidjin.  Whether I hit accept or deny, it doesn't go away
 upon the next start up.  Daveid Garrett is no longer with the company, so
 his e-mail address is no longer valid.  Not sure if that is causing the
 problem.  In either case, how do I fix it?  I have attached a screen shot
 for your reference.

Comment:

 You need to get the Help->Debug Window output from when your account
 connects. However this sounds like the server is misbehaving in that it
 keeps trying to send you the authorization request (despite his account no
 longer existing) and is further misbehaving in that it does not allow you
 to successfully respond to the request (thus indicating that the request
 is no longer pending) and solving the problem.

 Do you have an entry for this person on your buddy list at the moment?
 Make sure to check offline buddies. If you do try to remove it and see if
 that helps. If you do remove it have the debug window open and capture the
 response from the server for the removal request please.
