#10683: MSN randomly does not display contacts / shows me gone

This has been particularly bad for the last several weeks.
* Pidgin is running[[BR]]
* All usual accounts are enabled/connected[[BR]]
* Very Randomly, anywhere from 1 to none of my contacts will not show up
and they will show me as not being online.
-> Disable MSN[[BR]]
-> Re-enable MSN[[BR]]
-> All currently online contacts will show up.
I have to re-enable MSN every 24 to 36 hours.
It's remotely possible that using VPN to remotely access my desktop is
doing this, but this happens even when I'm not accessing pidgin.
Please advise if you would like logs, and how to get them. Please advise
if you would like clarification.
