 I'd like to reopen ticket #12750 or ticket#12336 as I'm having the same
 problem but don't know how to reopen a ticket. help2man doesn't build:

 /usr/bin/gcc-4.0  -o hacklocaledir.so -fPIC -bundle hacklocaledir.c

 this is on ppc under Mac OSX 10.4.11
