| Summary: #17 - Add Options Tab to eTemplate Editor |
Some eTemplate widgets have many options, some of which can be quite long. It can be difficult to maintain templates that have widgets with long options.
I suggest that widgets be able to define an Options template that could be added to the editor (possibly as a tab) to provide an easier way to deal with widget options. This will allow, for example, a label to have:
Bold: [x]
Italic: [_]
Label for: [_________________________]
Link: [_________________________]
Link target: [________]
Popup width: [________]
Popup height:[________]
Instead of one Options field. |

| The template / widget type works just fine. Rejecting my own ticket. |

Hi,
we reset all priority to 5, which is the new initial state of tracker items. The priority can now only be changed by Tracker admins or the assigned developer. This allows the developers to manage their work with the priorities. Users can vote to articulate their priorities.
Thanks for your understanding

Hi Nathan,
the editor already allows to create a template for each widget-type. This has been done for Grids and the Contact widget.
If you have time to create a few more, I'm happy to commit them.
The comma-separated options are availible in single variables (options[0], options[1], ...), see the grid-template: etemplate.editor.widget.grid

Excellent, that will work great.
Thanks, Ralph.
I had a go at creating one for text, it's attached if you want to use it. |
