Impossible to login to egroupware , 1.6.001.
Always the message : "Your session could not be verified."
It seems that a lot of people have the same problem.
All was working find in 1.4.

What was the value before?
It's hard to believe, that setting asyncservice to fallback fixes a login problem. None of our installations uses "fallback", thought it's the default, it's less efficient compared to "crontab".

I found this error after importing 1.4 DB to 1.6 installation. The login was impossible from the beginning. Then, I saved the egw_config table from the fresh new 1.6 database, and after import of 1.4 data, I throwed out the imported table and replaced by the fresh 1.6 table. It helped for the while, however I don't know, why it later falled back to the "invalid session" state.
After some experimenting I have found, that this line was initially responsible for bringing it to operational:
REPLACE INTO egw_config VALUES ('phpgwapi', 'asyncservice', 'fallback');

Hi,
this is NOT a general problem, it is somehow related to your configuration.
I can't diagnose that from the description you gave.
Either you dig yourself, or call the profession support.
