Zusammenfassung: #2055 - n_fn could not be updated after first time
Hi,

The problem is, when the 'n_fn' field got a value, never will be updated again, if somebody change the contact name.

Steps to reproduce: Copy an existing contact and edit its name. The result will be that, when you edit the name of the contact, you will get the correct (new) value, but you will not get updated the displayed name.

Note: I use Jörg's syncml extension, but this effect is independent of this, I checked.

Update: it is still exists.
I use the syncml patchset from Jörg. It seems, this effect caused by the patch.
Please reassign to Jörg, thank you.

--------------------------

If I change the family name, given name etc., the full name never updated in the database, the changes are lost and I got the first version.

In other words, the first version of the full name will be present forever. It is not possible to change, because it will never updated in the database, even when I edit the contact, I got the right full name in the form, but after Apply/Save it will be lost.

I compared to an installation, which has no this patchset, it is working well. I hope I helped your work.

Regards,
István
