i've tried rev. 27348 for syncml-1.2
and i got:

it seems to be, that the user have no right s for syncml.
but - i doesn't find (normally under settings) it.
also i can't set right under group policies, there is no application "syncml".
i have downloaded the 1.6 branch version + dl. the syncml-1.2 from branch (rev.27348)
what's wrong ?
is syncml-1.2 only combine with the trunk version ?
or combine with branch 1.4 ?
who can help ?
