Hello, I'm running Windows XP (32 bit). I've been a long time user of
GAIM/Pidgin. A couple of versions ago I experienced no sound. Looking at
settings mute is unchecked in system tray menu and preferences. All
sounds are selected and set to default. Tested each individually. All
play. Sounds in Windows are properly working in all other programs.
I am using latest version of Pidgin.
Enable Sounds Always selected. Simply will not work. There have been no
changes to any of my hardware or sound drivers and as far as i know all
sound settings have been unchanged for over a year.
