[ANN] Metro 1.1.4 is released

The Metro team is happy to announce the availability of Metro 1.1.4 [1]

As usual, if you have any thoughts or comments, please post them to

Isn't it Metro 1.4--or did you guys switch the numbering system?  Also, do the Maven repos have only a 1.1.4 version or a duplicated 1.1.4 and 1.4 version (hopefully the former).

Oh I see--people should still be using 1.4, but if they are stuck with the old 1.1.x series, they should upgrade to this 1.1.4.

I understand the confusion. Releasing Metro 1.1.4 almost together with  
Metro 1.4 is just a coincidence. The Metro 1.1.4 release is a  
maintenance release of Metro 1.1 branch with some JAX-RPC updates.
