We are pleased to announce version 2.7.0-final of the
Scala distribution. The biggest change in this version is its support
for Java 5 generics. There are also numerous other bug fixes.
Compared to the previous 2.7.0 which was announced on Feb 28th and
withdrawn shortly after, the current version fixes some problems with
Java's raw types.
