here's the third unstable release of the gnome-utils package for the
GNOME 2.25 release cycle.

as usual, you can download it from:

  http://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-utils/2.25/

here are the news for this release:

    * Brown paper bag release to fix System Log Viewer GConf schemas
not properly installed. Thanks to Sebastian Bacher.

Cheers,

Cosimo

Is there any plan to deal with bug #527682?

And what about now?

I have submitted this patch 9 months ago, people have shown interest,
and so far I've only received negative answers with the reason "Not now,
we're in freeze" (it was to-be-2.24 back then). Since then, a new
release has been made, and now, we are targetting 2.28. Will this
feature ever been included?

it would be easier if you referenced the bug to which you have attached
your patch.

maintainers read bugzilla email, but it's up to you to poke them there.

also you do have to realize that we're all volunteers.

ciao,

Oh, sorry. I forgot to remind the bug number: #527682 (it was in the
mail I was replying to).

I've already sent a ping there two months ago, without any answer.
That's why I've tried here.

I do. However, this patch is very small and pretty trivial and I don't
understand why it takes so long to be dealt with.
