Summary: crackling sound with ALSA Product: xine-lib Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: Plugins / Audio Output AssignedTo: xine-bugs@... ReportedBy: ivanich@... With enabled dmix in Alsa the sound is crackling and skips in xine-lib based players. I guess may be it is problem with resampling, because when I setting up rate 44100 in dmix - media files with samplerate 48000 playing with crackling and skipping, and the same happens if rate 48000 and files with 44100 samplerate -crackling and skipping.
