Since neither KDE nor QT shows any reaction I submitted a bug against OpenSUSE
(which I'm using). In the past they have been a huge supporter of KDE, and KDE
4.3.1 will be the default desktop in their upcoming 11.2 release. Perhaps they
are more inclined to address printing related issues than the KDE ot QT team
because they also target enterprise users with their distro.
