Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages When kompare reads files which reside on other systems than the local kdeio fetches those and stores them in /tmp under a random file name. Kompare displays this filename instead of the original one in the navigation pane.
