When the gradient in Kalzium is set to "No Gradient", the first option in the
second drop-down list below the File/View/Tools/Settings menubar, Kalzium
automatically highlights matches and partial matches visually on the periodic
table. However, if the gradient is set to anything else, no item is highlighted
and no other indicator of the search results is present.
Whether or not that gradient is configured as logarithmic or linear has no
effect upon the bug. I could find no other apparently relevant settings,
plugins, or libraries.
