Always the design don't have to be the best way to do things, breaking system
configurations are IMHO bad, then it's better to have a request at first login
where you ask if the user wants to use the system default cursor theme or use
the default for the default KDE4 theme.

KDE could look for the file
/usr/local/share/cursors/xorg-x11/default/index.theme

If file not set, then the system uses the X11 default cursor.
