What I was doing when the application crashed:
Kate opened with a file on a network share. Hit save and it crashed. Has
happened a few times yet the files seem to be able to save. Kate is not allowed
to save a temporary file (~ suffix) on the share although I checked "try to
save anyways" in the warning the first time
