Summary: SIGABRT crash (in MyMoneySeqAccessMgr::account?) in
                    account wizard
           Product: kmymoney2
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmymoney2-developer@...
        ReportedBy: jan@...

Version:           v1.0.0-CVS (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

KMyMoney consistently crashes when I try to create a new account for a loan.

I'm using PCLinuxOS 2009.1 updated to most recent patches as of today,
2009-11-04. KMyMoney reports its version as "1.0.0-CVS (Using KDE 3.5.10)".

The relevant snippet of the backtrace (as far as I can determine) is as
follows:
----------
#10 0xb5d22485 in std::set_unexpected () from /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6
#11 0xb5d224c2 in std::terminate () from /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6

When using the wizard, these are some of the options I set:
--Page 2:
Account type: Loan
Opening date: 2005-09-30
--Page 3:
Type: I am borrowing money
Made payments: Yes
Record: All payments
Pay freq: Monthly
Interest: Yearly
First payment: 2005-10-31
Interest rate: Fixed
--Page 4:
Interest calc: When due
blabla
--Page 6:
Interest category: new sub-category (created inline with the "Create a new
Category" wizard)
Payment account: selected pre-existing account foo
First payment due on: greyed out (today's date)
--Page 7:
Asset account: selected pre-existing account bar
Crashes upon clicking "Next" on this page.

I found no other bugs relating to "MyMoneySeqAccessMgr" or causing SIGABRT.

This has been fixed in version 1.0.1.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround in that version because the problem lies
when creating a schedule, and you can't create a loan without a corresponding
schedule.

Thanks for the *very* prompt response. Too bad for me right now, but the future
is bright.
