Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) Compiler: gcc version 4.4.1 (GCC) Installed from: Mandriva RPMs Several widget styles (plastique, oxygen) show a focus rect (default is blue) around the sunken frame of text editors. However it is not shown for Kate main Editor window, which creates some confusion/inconsistency with other apps (e.g. other editors). The same is true for "hover" rect (which I just implemented in oxygen-style in trunk). Although this is not a very important issue, I think fixing this would add some polish. That makes sense. However since I don't think you want to put application-specific hacks in a style, maybe we'd rather leave it this way ... on the other hand, one 'might' be able to make style hacks in the application of course. e.g. customize the paintEvent to make it "look like" a QTextEdit.
