Having enabled smart to run by renaming the config file, letting smart recreate
it from scratch and ensuring it ran, shutting smart down, removing the new
config file and renaming the original one, I am finding that the messages
referred to in the original thread are still occurring.
My version of cooker is not completely uptodate, but smart is.
