This bug is still valid with:
Mandriva One 2008.1 RC1 KDE
In KDE-Control-Center the option for Sub-Pixel-Hinting is greyed out
Manually editing ~/.fonts.conf works
Not only editing conf-file works, new started programs show that
Sub-Pixel-Hinting DOES work. :-)
------ Original Bug Text: ------
Description of problem:
Trying to have anti-aliased fonts with subpixel-hinting and KDE fails.
The option in KDE-Controlcenter will be greyed-out.
Doing the change manually in ~/.fonts.conf does the trick!
