       RPM Package: mountloop-0.15.4-3mdv2010.0.src.rpm
Summary: Can't mount my encrypted files after upgrade to 2010.0
    Classification: Mandriva Linux
           Product: Mandriva Linux
           Version: 2010.0
          Platform: i586
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: normal
         Component: Core Packages
        AssignedTo: tvignaud@...
        ReportedBy: oliver.burger@...
         QAContact: bugs@...

Description of problem:
I  created an encrypted file using drakloop in 2009.1. Now, after upgrading to
2010.0 (via ftp) I can't mount this file any more.
drakloop (started out of a terminal) tells me

-----
obgr ~ $  drakloop
file=/home/obgr/encrypted/encfile eol
# /sbin/modprobe aes
# /sbin/modprobe cryptoloop
# chown 601 /dev/loop1
# /bin/mount -o loop=/dev/loop1,encrypted,encryption=aes256 -p 0
/home/obgr/encrypted/encfile /home/obgr/encrypted
mount: unknown filesystemtype „none“
-----

I also noticed, that "/etc/rc5.d/S51fuse" isn't working anymore because the
target "/init.d/fuse" doesn't exist any more and is not available in any 2010.0
package.

fuse no longer need an initscript so /etc/rc5.d/*fuse no longer exists.

O.k. but that doesn't solve the problem itself. Since I have some quite
important data in that encrypted file - which I created using one of Mandriva's
own tools - and I need to access it.

I think this is a serious flaw and it should be corrected.

Anything new?

I'm not certain but I read somewhere that drakllop is no longer supported. Is
this correct? And if so, then why is there a 2010.0-package?
