A simple patch to fix IllegalStateExceptions in ImageIOGenerator

On newer JRE (1.6 and above), ImageIOGenerator sometimes throws the following
exception when saving as GIF:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: No compression type set!

This only happens when the JRE's GIFImageWriter is used instead of the one that
Helma ships with, a condition that seems to depend on how Helma is started.
