[Building Sakai] Maintenance question

Hi all,

Last week Matthew Buckett updated SAK-5838.

Now we have patches for this issue both for 2.5 (since 18-Jun-2008) and
2.6 (since 29-Oct-2009) but none of those fixes has been merged yet.

When I try to auto-assign this Email Archive issue, it is still
unassigned. Should I understand that this component is not maintained?

Do we have a list of components that are not maintained now?

Do we intend to maintain those components?

Will the unborn maintenance team do this maintenance?

Cheers,
Jean-Francois

Matt Jones, UMich, has volunteered to serve as the mail archive lead.

Cheers,

Anth

Hi,

Dave Haines talked to me about this SAK yesterday. We were going to
briefly review it then merge it in. There are also a few other
outstanding issues that need to be merged to mail archive before 2.7.
I didn't notice this before because it was under the Email Service
component.

Thanks

-Matthew

Thanks for volunteering, Matt.

If Dave Haines and Matthew Buckett do not object, I would like
servernames' autodetect and autodetectIP set to false.

Thanks all

http://james.apache.org/server/2.3.0/serverwide_configuration.html

So this means that James doesn't accept mail for the IP it's running
on or the hostname it's running on?

If I understood it correctly, that seems fine as when running in a
cluster different James nodes would end up accepting mail for
different addresses.

Seem very sensible to me.

I'll eagerly defer to Matthew's judgement on this.
