[Building Sakai] rest all 'My Workspaces'

We need to add a new page/tool to everyone's My Workspace.

Is there an easy way to do this?  From what I understand, changes to the !user template are not propagated to current 'My Workspaces', but will display when a new user logs in.

 

is there some crazy sql that will remove them properly?

Or can I kraft some that removes the ~ sites from all the SAKAI_SITE* tables ? ... but then I'd lose people's resources, right?  ugh.
