- 4D Pop and the 4D Pop productivity components that were created to help with the development process. -- Gary Brocks of Skyline Solutions, Inc. 
- Setting up & using a MySQL database with 4D, and a review of productivity tools for working with MY SQL particularly on the Mac. --Mehboob Alam of thinkx group, inc.


The evening's proposed schedule is as follows:
7:30 Meet and Greet
7:35 - 8:05 4D Pop and the 4D Pop productivity components
8:05 - 9:30 Setting up & using a MySQL database with 4D, and productivity for MY SQL
9:30 Meeting wrapup, adjourn to a local establishment for talk, food and drink(s)


About Mehboob Alam
Gary is a 4D Application Developer and Technical Trainer based in New York City. Gary has developed or reengineered applications in the investment banking, pharmaceutical, print and electronic media industries, and in the non-profit sector (Grants Administration).  Gary is also active as a technical trainer, and a technical marketing specialist. Gary was employed by 4D Inc. as a Technical Trainer from 1990 - 1995, and as a Software Evangelist from 2002 - 2003.


About Mehboob Alam
Mehboob is a business application developer in New York City.   As a technical consultant and in-house developer, he has used 4D for over 18 years. Mehboob has been an active member of the 4D community for many years and is highly regarded by his peers for his knowledgebase contributions through his on-line activities.

Near by subway lines:
E or V trains to Lexington Ave station (at 53rd Street)
4 or 5 trains to the 59th Street station (on Lexington Avenue), then walk south 
on Lexington Avenue 6 blocks.
6 train to the 51 Street station (on Lexington Avenue), walk north 2 blocks.


The entrance to Saint Peter's Church is on 54th Street between Lexington Ave and 
3rd Avenue. Upon entering you will see the reception desk. Let the receptionist 
know that you are there for the NYC4DUG meeting.


Take the elevator (on your left) down to level LL2 / Theater Level. When you 
reach the Theater Level, walk straight through the lobby, and though a set of 
reddish fire doors. After walking though the fire doors, continue up a short 
flight of stairs (about 6 steps) and continue straight ahead to the 2nd door on 
the right, the door for the Committee Room.
