I guys,
are there any plans to port moblin2 packages to 2009.1?
I've been trying to do it myself, using the cooker src rpms but it seems
I have to recreate almost all of the cooker main packages (Not counting
specific moblin packages, I've already made gtk2, GConf2, glib2, gdm,
x11-server, x11-driver-video-intel, and even installed a 2.6.31
kernel........)
I can install the packages I've made... but when I start moblin it shows
a black screen and my PC freezes... only a hard shutdown works... not
even the VT's are available...
I've managed once to have moblin kinda work, but it was to unstable,
with empty windows, and flickering, and applications openning and
closing... a real mess....
Does anyone know if there are more lower level packages that are also
needed? Does it really need to have a 2010 base and no porting is
possible... I find that hard to believe... It's probably me that's
missing something....
