[Cooker] Mouse strangeness after latest round of updatesHi,
Not sure what update did it (not had time to look properly) but I've noticed some strange happenings in mouse land.... 1. Mouse does not deactivate (gnome) screensaver any more. 2. Mouse does not enter a VM in vmware player anymore (not tried with VB yet). 3. When dragging mails in TB the position of the drop (e.g. which folder) does not match the position of my pointer - this could be due to new xulrunner from testing but it seems suspicious seeing as the other issues have cropped up). Anyone else seeing this/know where to start looking? I'm also seeing this one. However, I'd bet more on the new gtk... Especially because I noticed this yesterday, before the xulrunner update. I can confirm this, both with a standard mouse and a touchpad. > 2. Mouse does not enter a VM in vmware player anymore (not tried with > VB yet). Mouse exchange between desktop and VirtualBox seems to be working OK. |

This happens also on my firefox 3.5 (binary available from mozilla site). Another issue that I noticed is that after suspending/resuming, mouse pointer speed changes, and becomes out of sync between touchpad and mouse (e.g., touchpad feels slower, and real mouse faster). Look at the last line "Refusing to enable duplicate device" , it's seeing double, one from xorg.conf and one from HAL auto-detect/hot-plug, suspend+resume= unplug+replug ?. So try cleaning xorg.conf, keyboard, mouse, and touchpad sections. -- Ahmad Samir |
