Installation failed:
        perl(Net::SSLeay) >= 1.33 is needed by
        perl-AnyEvent-3:4.800.0-1mdv2010.0.noarch

urpmq --fuzzy -r perl-Net_SSLeay
perl-Net_SSLeay.pm-1.30-7mdv2009.0

1.30 is also the latest release on cpan

Hi,

I have tried to package perl-Net-SSLeay, but that would not work as
the package would conflict with perl-Net-SSLeay.pm. Any suggestions?

Regards, Götz

Looking at both Net_SSLeay.pm and Net_SSLeay it appears that Florian
stopped work/changed name on Net_SSLeay.pm at 1.30 in favour of
continuing the work as Net_SSLeay which is currently at 1.35.

Both include the same modules, Net::SSLeay and
Net::SSLeay::Handle, each with identically described functionality.

My suggestion would be to pkg Net_SSLeay-1.35 and have it obsolete
Net_SSLeay.pm.

i just updated perl-Net_SSLeay.pm:
- renamed to perl-Net-SSLeay
- obsoletes & provides perl-Net_SSLeay.pm
- updated to 1.35
- using %perl_convert_version
- removed patch perl-Net_SSLeay-1.2.5-CVE-2005-0106.patch which has been
  merged upstream
- removed patch perl-Net_SSLeay-1.30-large-tcp-read.patch which seems to
be merged (although a bit differently) upstream

it's currently building, after some mirror syncing everything should be
fine. tell me if it's not.

jérôme

for some reason, perl-Net-SSLeay is stuck in hdlists (after having been
built correctly) since more than 5 hours... can someone familiar with
build system can have a look?

I think this is because I have moved it to main. Please be patient,
the hdlists are not regenerated until a new package will be uploaded
to main.

Or you can just push this package again.

The package is available, I could install it just fine.
