[DG: User Experience] easy way to turnoff chat in 3akai for debugging?

Firebug seems to jump to where ever the DOM changes which means that the Chat feature in 3akai makes it a might tricky to debug around. Is there an easy way to turn off Chat in 3akai to make it easier to do Javascript, CSS, and DOM debugging?
