To all authors of research paper submissions to SIGMOD 2010:
First, congratulations for doing all the hard work on your submissions!
************************************
Second, please do not throw away the code and data used in your
experiments: they may still be useful :)
************************************
As in 2009, we organize in conjunction with the SIGMOD 2010 conference
a repeatability and workability (R&W) assessment of accepted research
submissions, on a voluntary basis:
* The repeatability assessment aims at repeating, to the extent possible,
the experiments described in your submission
* The workability assessment consists of attempting to use your code on
other inputs than are used in your submission, to get a feeling of its
generality.
You will be able to provide your code, data, and instructions soon
after the acceptance decisions (february-march 2010).
Information regarding the R&W assessment is available at:
http://www.sigmod2010.org/calls_papers_sigmod_research_repeatability.shtmlThe page will be updated with all the relevant information.
Best regards,
