[Fwd: [ gtkpod-Bugs-2828134 ] Large Audio Book Won't Copyu]Hi everyone.
I've received the message below through the bug tracker -- and I'm not quite sure why a 2.6GB file would be too large to copy, unless his iPod uses FAT16 instead of FAT32. However, FAT16 is limited to 4GB partitions, which seems unlikely for today's iPods... Any ideas? Hi everyone. Maybe try if a simple "cp" to the same iPod works? At least that should tell him if it's a problem with the partition. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial. Re: [Fwd: [ gtkpod-Bugs-2828134 ] Large Audio Book Won't Copyu]Hi,
as far as i know, the maximum filesize of a FAT16 partition is 2GB, the maximum filesize of a FAT32 partition is 4GB. So the transfer of a 2,6GB file to a FAT16 partition will always fail. Kind regards, Jan.
