Of course we like to think that the NMCAs lead the way in Europe, you
can see some of our YouTube stuff at:

If I was young enough to understand the technology I'd probably be able
to work out how to get rid of the related video i.e. the lady with the
legs!
She's had 4,315,610 viewings, far surpassing anything that the GI videos
manage. Let's see if together we can change the rankings!
Now there's a challenge!!

added a new category titled "Links to Videos" In the "Learn" section of

referenced provided in this email.

Please let me know of any other videos of SDI or portal applications -
especially those that use OGC and ISO TC 211 standards.

please, have a look at ESRI v_campus for video resources (btw, "The District" some
years ago was a good video example for GI oriented applications) while on YOUTUBE
the video_clips are more or less advertizing oriented, informative, but with a limited
learning effect...

as we still have a VERY long way to go not only for syntactical SDI interoperability,
but especially for semantical  SDI interoperation of INSPIRE annexes I, II, III

and, finally, have a look onto the eLearning video_clips inside the
EU-FP6-NATURNET project portal finalized last december 2007...

a VERY excellent example of regional SDI applications is the production of the
regional ENVIRO atlas, just published by Czech regional government in LIBEREC (CZ)

ONLINE too as from january 2009 when CZ is "ruling" the new EU presidentship... :-)
