[Fwd: Ethernet transformer for RTL8019AS]-------- Original-Nachricht -------- Betreff: Ethernet transformer for RTL8019AS Datum: Mon, 19 Oct 2009 12:40:16 +0200 Von: johan van der Stoel <johan@...> An: <en-nut-discussion@...> Hello all, Bothhand has stopped the production of the FB2022. After checking with Realtek, it seems -fortunately- there are no plans to stop production of the RTL8019AS. But. we don't have an alternative for the FB2022 yet. Does anyone have a good alternative for this device? Thanks for your help. Best regards, Johan van der Stoel _______________________________________________ http://lists.egnite.de/mailman/listinfo/en-nut-discussion |

Re: [Fwd: Ethernet transformer for RTL8019AS]Herald,
Realtek will work with any Ethernet 1:1 transformer. Can you consider reworking PCB for SMT trafo? Most popular are like this one Pulse H1260 http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Cat=786982&k=H1260 And many many others. Cheers Peter. -----Original Message----- From: en-nut-discussion-bounces@... Re: [Fwd: Ethernet transformer for RTL8019AS]Hi!
You might also like to check with Würth as they expanded their product range there recently. If you need a good contact, wait till next week, when I am back in the office. It is something like 1:1,41 or so. That's also the reason why you can't connect the RTL directly to a switch. With 1:1 you can just use coupling capacitors for onboard connections. There had been many transformers on the market when NE2000 cards had been popular. Compatible transformers also had been used in many 10MBit/s Hubs at this time. A few compaible (also Pinwise) that comes to mind are: YCL 20F001N LANKom LF-161C GROUP-TEK BTF-22 GTS FC-22 But I don't know if any of them is still on the market. I've had a more complete list, but can't find it right now. I stopped searching myself and just sourced Bothhand from Egnite. > -----Original Message----- > From: en-nut-discussion-bounces@... > [mailto:en-nut-discussion-bounces@...] On Behalf Of Harald Kipp > Sent: Monday, October 19, 2009 8:13 PM > To: Ethernut User Chat (English) > Subject: [En-Nut-Discussion] [Fwd: Ethernet transformer for RTL8019AS] > > > > -------- Original-Nachricht -------- > Betreff: Ethernet transformer for RTL8019AS > Datum: Mon, 19 Oct 2009 12:40:16 +0200 > Von: johan van der Stoel <johan@...> > An: <en-nut-discussion@...> > > Hello all, > > > > Bothhand has stopped the production of the FB2022. > > After checking with Realtek, it seems -fortunately- there are no plans to > stop production of the RTL8019AS. I don't have samples for 10 MBit here, but Würth has a quite good support and at least some SMT transformers for 10 MBit. They are called WE-LAN xxx Our contacts are: Michael.Zey (at) we-online (dot) de Norbert.Wieczorek (at) we-online (dot) de Bye, Ole -- _____________________________________________________________ | | | Embedded-IT | | | | Ole Reinhardt Tel. / Fax: +49 (0)271 7420433 | | Luisenstraße 29 Mobil: +49 (0)177 7420433 | | 57076 Siegen eMail: ole.reinhardt@... | | Germany Web: http://www.embedded-it.de | |_____________________________________________________________| _______________________________________________ http://lists.egnite.de/mailman/listinfo/en-nut-discussion |
